Tree Planting in South Shields

To help increase the amount of woodland cover and biodiversity in the North East we are busy planting native trees around the region. Come and join us for a day’s tree planting at this community event – and be part of making a difference.

We are working with North East Community Forest and South Tyneside Council to increase tree cover for biodiversity and wellbeing in Campbell Park, South Shields.

Do wear weather appropriate clothes, layers are good as we can get warm when we work even if it is cool. Waterproofs if necessary and sturdy footwear is essential. Something to sit on (plastic sheet, sit mat, etc). please bring work gloves if you have any.

Please bring plenty of water to drink, a packed lunch and a flask if you wish.

Living Woods facilitators will bring necessary tools and provide guidance and advice.

This event is being managed by Living Woods on behalf of Tyneside Council, as part of the ongoing work of the North East Community Forest.
