Join us as a volunteer

Become a volunteer and help to create, care for and connect with trees and woodland in and around your community.

Our volunteer work involves getting small woodlands back into active management along with planting trees, which will form woodlands that communities will enjoy for years to come.

All of our volunteer work contributes to support wildlife and increase biodiversity. By ensuring the health of woodlands and creating more of them, we are actively tackling climate change by helping to lock in carbon from the atmosphere.

Working in small teams outdoors, our sessions are a great way to meet new people and enjoy nature.

If we all do a little it can make a big difference. Volunteers are an intrinsic part of Living Woods and we value each persons individual contribution.

How can you get involved?

Which type of role would you enjoy and like to volunteer for?

Tree Planting

Our volunteer days include tree planting, re-stocking trees which haven’t survived previous years, weeding around young saplings to give them the best chance and removing tree guards on established trees. Our tree planting days run from November to March. Please get in touch with us through our contact page if you are interested in tree planting.
