Mark Dinning from Durham Wildlife Trust will lead a ‘walk and talk’ in the morning around Milkwellburn Wood, near Chopwell Village.
Looking at PAWS restoration (Plantations on Ancient Woodland Sites) – and how it has been undertaken at this site, and any lessons learnt.
We will also be joined by Woodland Trust staff who have a focus on looking after ancient woodlands.
For this particular event you will need sturdy footwear, suitable clothes and your own lunch and refreshments.
