We are going to be out and about tree planting again at the end of this month and we would love you to join us.
The first event is at Rising Sun Country Park where we aim to extend a small woodland, improving the area for wildlife and biodiversity. It’s next Wednesday, March 26, from 10am – 3pm . Come and join us to plant 300 new broadleaved trees with tubes and stakes in a field between Rising Sun Country Park and Rising Sun Farm. We will be extending an existing newly planted woodland to help support biodiversity in and around the park.
Please park in country park car park and walk through to the site (no parking available at the farm)

The following Monday, March 31, we will be at Henley Gardens in Wallsend as we hope to plant 600 trees, in a small young woodland where some trees haven’t survived the first round of planting.
